So how did we get here? Lets take it a section at a time:
YOGA
My yoga practice started when she wanted to achieve a split like most of the cheerleaders I’d seen on TV. As a Boston native, I got her bearings at Boston Sports Clubs. In time my interest grew from achieving only one pose to her physical fitness overall. I began searching and seeking, trying to gain more insight regarding yoga and other locations to practice. Once I started taking yoga in studio settings that’s when my interest turned into a passion and I knew I wanted to pursue teaching.
Graduating Boston Yoga School in Summer 2014, I now helps students focus on developing their yoga practice, as well as honing her own. For me it’s not about the ability to spring into a handstand but to become grounded as an individual through each posture using the breath and connecting from within. In Winter 2015 I achieved my Kids Asana certification and teaches children as various studios.
WRITING
Constantly with pen and paper in my youth I started my first blog back in 2013 I started my first ever blog about one of my favorite topics, food. Invisible Potbelly was created and I took off on a mouth water adventure that didn’t just stop at Boston but traveled internationally. Taking a break from keys for a while I was inspired by a local blogger and decided to not only start up a new food blog but also branch out as a content writer as well. More info to come.
TRAVELER
Nothing beats departing from Logan airport and arriving in destination X. It could hot, warm, cool, or cold, I want to go. I’ve been fortunate to travel to 19 countries, with number 20+ on the way. My plan for 2018 is to write also about my travel experiences, from backpacking, to tourism, adversity, and beyond. Get ready for a journey, no passports required.
